the awkward moment #10

when you finally are going to go home (maybe for good), but the tube service may be disrupted because of a strike (that's the cheapest way to go to heathrow) and the express train to airport won't be working either (the most convenient transport to airport). am I supposed to pay for a taxi? or to sit on the bus for more than 2 hours - while changing every 20 minutes or so? damn it.

haruskah ak diruwat?

after years of good experience with my possession, this past couple of months have been a real 'hell' for me. first, I lost a tripod in Jane Austen's city, Bath. second (today), I lost my damn cell phone in a market (and fortunately, it was the android one - which I only got like in a what? a year or so). this is just awesome! yet, a friend of mine said I was way too 'cool' for someone who just lost a phone, to which another responded, "she didn't even react when she lost a boyfriend, what-more a phone!". haha, I guess she's right.  well, I guess, goodbye! :'(

Pojangmacha: Korean angkringan

trying to keep my promise yesterday. okeh, today's post is about Korean street food stall, or almost similar with Javanese angkringan. before coming to Korea, I like watching Korean movies. The thing I often see in them is the street food stall. Often, characters in the movie go to one of these stalls and get a drink of soju and get drank, to confess love or messed-up feelings about love. Also, to eat fatty barbecued meat. Hahaa, what a unhealthy lifestyle! Another is when the character go for a walk and see one of the stall below, then grab a skewer or two. It seems so nice, and the way they eat it is sooo tempting. Korean definitely loves eating, and so do I!!
